The Mansa Devi Temple is situated amidst the beautiful hills of city Haridwar in the state of Uttarakhand. The temple is one of the ‘Siddh Peetha’ which means the place where worshipping leads to fulfilling of desires, the other two are Chandi Devi Temple and Maya Devi Temple.
Ma Mansa is considered as the sister of the serpent Vasuki and the word ‘Mansa’ means wish. Thus, it is said if a devotee desperately wants to fulfill a wish then he should visit and tie a thread to the branches of a tree located in the temple, followed by giving of Mansa Devi Prasad as the blessing.

To reach till the shrine, the devotees commute with the help of a ropeway, known as Mansa Devi Udankhatola, resulting in a stunning scenic beauty of the holy Ganges and Haridwar town.
