Also, known as Shali, Shaligram is a sacred stone in a spherical shape, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu is known by various names. Different names with different characters represent different Shaligram. These stones are found only in two places i.e, the Kali-Gandaki and Muktinabh river in Nepal. Devotee before installing Shaligram in their home should know How To Worship Shaligram. Initially, it should be given a bath from Panchamrit (Five Nector) which constitutes Sugar, Honey, Curd, Ghee and Milk, followed by an offering of Tulasi leaves, fruits, incenses, diya and shankh. Then, the puja takes place. Along with worshipping Lord Vishnu, Lord Krishna is also worshipped.
